Peter Frappell
Professor Peter Frappell is an Emeritus Professor (University of Tasmania) with a wide understanding and strong record in international education. Peter was the inaugural Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) at the University of Tasmania, with this role focused on international student recruitment, institutional partnerships, joint ventures, foreign agency engagement, student mobility, and international research strategy.
Peter has also spent time as a Dean of Graduate Research, as a Director for Research Planning, an Associate Dean International and as a State Government Senior Strategist for International Education.
An accomplished researcher, Peter has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers, including articles in Science, Nature and Cell. He has served on editorial boards and is often invited as a keynote speaker at international conferences.
Peter Frappell’s knowledge and experience in International Education has led him to establish Tridactyl Projects. Tridactyl aims to combine his passion for quality research, high impact partnerships and successful international education.
Deirdre Frappell
Dr Deirdre Frappell has a PhD in Agricultural Science and has led research and teaching benchmarking projects at both LaTrobe University and the University of Tasmania.
